Pricing

We understand that cost matters when seeking an evaluation. We will review your insurance plan before confirming billing arrangements. For out-of-network services, we do not file claims. We can provide a superbill for you to seek reimbursement through your insurance plan.

The 90-minute intake is $450, which is the initial cost to book your evaluation. This fee will be charged on the day of your intake. You will receive a Good Faith Estimate when scheduling to get a clear picture of the fees and investment associated with a psychological evaluation.


All subsequent evaluation work is billed at $300/hour, including testing, report writing, and feedback. After your intake, a $1,500 advance payment will apply toward your evaluation and is required before testing is scheduled. We will provide an updated Good Faith Estimate before you commit to testing.

Comprehensive evaluations typically range from $3,500–$5,000 including the intake appointment. Focused evaluations may cost less, and complex evaluations may cost more.

  • We accept the following forms of payment for evaluations:

    • Major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)

    • Debit cards

    • Checks payable to New Spark Psychology & Consulting PLLC

  • The $450 fee for the intake/diagnostic interview will be paid the day of the initial appointment to your card on file (our preferred payment method).

    After intake, you will then receive an updated Good Faith Estimate (GFE). An advance payment of $1,500 is due prior to scheduling a follow-up visit for testing. This covers 5 hours of work toward your final evaluation.

    The remaining portion of the total fee (billed at $300/hour) shall be paid upon notification to the client prior to report completion, as specified in the GFE.

    Clients may choose to stop the evaluation process at any time by notifying the evaluator directly in writing via secure message in SimplePractice or via email (though it is not a secure method of communication). Clients will be responsible for billing for any work completed prior to their received request.

  • Payment plans may be available for non-forensic evaluation services on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to request an alternate financial arrangement that differs from what is specified on this website, please let us know when you schedule. We will discuss available options and determine if we can create a payment plan that fits your circumstances.
